What is BOTOX?

BOTOX is an FDA-approved cosmetic injectable made of botulinum toxin type A. Dr. Horton and her team also offer dermal fillers to reduce signs of aging without surgery or downtime. What should I expect during BOTOX or filler injections?

Because there’s no downtime after cosmetic injectables, you can resume your normal routine right away. Redness and swelling are common after the injections, but these side effects soon subside. You might notice results from fillers right away, while BOTOX-type injectables can take several days to take effect.
