What is Sculptra?
SCULPTRA (poly-l-lactic acid) was FDA indicated for facial aesthetics in 2009. SCULPTRA is a product that is injected into facial areas including cheeks, temples, jaw line, and nasolabial folds (the vertical lines above, around, and just below mouth).
HOW DOES SCULPTRA WORK?
The actual medicine gradually clears from your body. However, the magic behind this
treatment is that it stimulates your own body to generate collagen over a period of 4-6 weeks. The effect is a) restoration of facial volume, b)reduction of harsh lines as a result of aging, and c) a smooth, soft and natural effect.
SCULPTRA is superior to gel fillers in that the result is natural without asymmetry, lumps, and over-exaggeration. However, in many instances, SCULPTRA can be used along with gel fillers to give the best outcome.
HOW IS SCULPTRA USED?
SCULPTRA is administered 2 vials per treatment. The number of vials a person needs is generally the number of decades of their age. Each treatment takes approximately 15 minutes. There may be bruising after the injections.
Each session should be 4-6 weeks apart. After your initial treatment, maintenance is typically one vial yearly.

SCULPTRA is by far my choice for a non-surgical face lift with a natural outcome. And SCULPTRA results last for 18-24 months with 1 yearly maintenance treatment.
